WCCA is thrilled to present FREE Storytelling programs as an outreach service to the community. Outreach is part of WCCA's Mission Statement.
Adam Booth, award winning storyteller, educator, and musician. presents The Heron’s Journey, a multidisciplinary program that has been selected for the 2024-25 Mid-Atlantic Arts Touring Roster.The Heron's Journey is an interactive concert experience which uses spoken storytelling, quilting, and paper sculpture to tell an allegory filled with magic, challenges to opposition, and transformation. Meet the title character Lake in various forms of self-discovery and take part in giving the story wings.
Registration is suggested but not necessary. We expect a big turn out and those that have registered will be guranteed a seat.
